What it does
This ATAK plugin supports off-grid communication, allowing users to share positions, chat, and CoT (Common Operational Picture) messages with MeshCore LoRa mesh radios. It operates independently of traditional TAK servers and does not require an amateur radio license.
How to install
- Go to the repository's releases page at https://github.com/gridbasedotnet/meshcore-TAK/releases/tag/v1.0.0.
- Download the APK file.
- Install the downloaded APK in ATAK.
How to use
- Ensure your device has MeshCore LoRa mesh radios installed and configured.
- Launch ATAK and open the plugin settings to configure your radio network parameters.
- Start using the chat, position sharing, and CoT features as needed.
